I just logged into our documentation analytics and noticed that something has really gone wrong lately:

RTD made a change on Oct 7 (comment here readthedocs/readthedocs.org#9530 (comment) copied below):

Read the Docs will stop injecting GA automatically starting on July 29th for new projects and October 7th for all the projects. Read more about this change at https://about.readthedocs.com/blog/2024/07/addons-by-default/ and readthedocs/readthedocs.org#11474

Users that want to keep GA working could use the Google Analytics Sphinx extension: https://github.com/sphinx-contrib/googleanalytics

@jhamman or @dcherian I could tackle getting this back if it's not already, but don't have access to RTD. I am also hoping to access the Xarray Tutorial analytics which I presume is under the same account, not sure if it's possible to add team members on the Google Analytics site too? (xarray-contrib/xarray-tutorial#93)

Correct, but it does have a Google Analytics code, which I thought might be under the same 'project' https://analytics.google.com ?

Actually, I'm not really sure where the google tracking ID is set for the docs... Maybe it's at xarray.dev level and covers all subdomains including https://tutorial.xarray.dev and https://docs.xarray.dev ?....
(looking at https://github.com/xarray-contrib/xarray.dev/blob/66dbfbb06a3d7c4caaf9d77a401b7fb488116cdd/src/lib/ga.js#L1)

Read-the-docs does their own basic website tracking now separately, but it's limited to capturing data for 90 days. I just enabled this so maintainers can access this info now at these links:
