A couple of questions

1. How do I disable a button? There's no disable parameter in pywebio.output.put_buttons.
2. How do I append a custom class to any input or output, for example if I want to style outputs differently, I might want to use css to target those classes I append on specific outputs.
3. How do I align label in the same row as input or output? There's always a <br> tag following the label, and if I manually get rid of it, the label is also too close to the input or output element. I understand I could style the <br> tag but it's not as effective as having a label_inline parameter available.
4. How do I react to keyboard return in an Input, or tie it to the submit button?
5. How do I set focus to a pinned input?

1. What do you mean by "disable a button"? Still showing them but blacking out?
2. Current version does not support it yet. Theme and styling solution by themselves can be a big feaure for future. Any good idea how this should be done?
3. For output, it should be easy to skip 'label' parameter and use put_row() to align them. To get user input, you can use pin modules the same way as using output.
4. Isn't it already there? For an input widget, hitting return is equivalent to clicking submit. Or, maybe I do not get your question?

1. Yes, a disabled grey button is what I want, just like a disabled input. It also puzzles me that put_buttons is an output while put_input is an input.
2. For now I think add a some_output_element.append_class / remove_class, combined with the appending text css in head with pywebio.session.run_js should be fine. But one other better option might be having methods like put_button instead of put_buttons, which can be styled alone just like any put_text with .style().
3. I understand the put_row() solution, only it's not as good as using the label when it's tied to the input like checkbox.
4. I actually meant when I use pin inputs along with buttons, I'd like to tie a pinned input to a certain button. As I mentioned in my another post, I don't think "disappearing" forms are more useful than pinned forms.

AS I have seen, you want pywebio.input methods inside the pin.put_input methods.
most of this has been done, but it is far from complete as I've seen.
you could have it with onchange method, which is disabled in pin.

you have to be innovative and some times makes some things your self.
in my last CRUD app, I've found some solutions which were not very PyWebIO style.

PyWebIO aims to help people build web applications quickly and easily. Currently, PyWebIO does not provide sufficient support for fine-grained style control. You need more hack to make some style control. You can see this: #124 (comment)

1. The solution does work with run_js('''$('button.btn.btn-success').attr('disabled', true)''') (in this case I happen to have only one success button on the page). However the workaround you mentioned won't work when there are multiple buttons in the same scope. I still think it's better to have a put_button method instead of put_buttons.
2. Partially solved with the workaround and using different button styles in the same scope.
3. Partially solved by using put_row along with put_text and checkbox.
4. Still pending for solution, and the reason that I use Python is I don't know much about JavaScript, otherwise it wouldn't be so difficult.
5. Still pending for solution like question 4.

some JQuery knowledge is very helpful in PyWebIO, it is worth mentioning it is way more convenient than JS. specially in the form that we don't need to embed them inline.
