Setting color of cell doesn't has any effect...

Well, the code is no rocket science but doesn't has any effect:

// create reusable XLS styles
x.xlsStyleSuspiciousValue, err = x.File.NewStyle(

And then:

if err := x.File.SetCellStyle("Sheet1", xlsCoord2Cell(col, row), xlsCoord2Cell(col, row), x.xlsStyleSuspiciousValue); err != nil {
	log.Println(err)
}

But no effect, and I don't have any clue what could be wrong...

Hi @Robert-M-Muench, thanks for your feedback. Please check and make sure no errors in your code and custom-defined functions, such as xlsCoord2Cell. If you're using the lasted version of the Excelize library, here is a standalone example, and it works well:
