Describe the bug
The Sesame PDD solver sometimes fails for structures with long Shockley-Read-Hall lifetimes, seemingly when non-radiative recombination is lower than radiative recombination. No reasonable initial guess is generated by Sesame.
To Reproduce
See attached script. This runs for the first iteration of the loop (200 ns lifetime in the GaAs base) but the solver fails to converge even at short circuit if the lifetime is increased to ~240 ns.
Expected behavior
A physical solution, as happens for even slightly lower lifetimes.
