what is the difference between the various docker image suffixes?

like:
4.1.0-management
4.1.0
4.1.0-management-alpine

I only see one Dockerfile in the source code, and I can't figure out from the Makefile how images with suffixes like "4.1.0-management" are built.

Is the Docker image built in another GitHub repository?

The docker images are maintained by the docker community and are not part of the rabbitmq-server repository https://github.com/docker-library/rabbitmq

The images tags describe what type of image you're getting. -management means the management plugin is enabled by default, -alpine means the base image is alpine, and no - suffix means nothing is enabled by default.
