Negative "Message body bytes"

Hi,

I see strange negative values in Message body bytes. What can be an explanation for this?

RabbitMQ 4.1.4
Erlang 27.3.4

I'm afraid we cannot guess how that metric can get negative. I suspect that it eventually recalculates correctly.

In any case, we do not guess in this community.

@dmitry-semenov-rtl do you know the RabbitMQ version when this quorum queue got created? I mean you write RabbitMQ 4.1.4, but was this quorum queue also created in 4.1.4 or was it created in an earlier RabbitMQ version and then upgraded to 4.1.4?

I can't say for sure for this queue but RMQ was indeed upgraded from version 3 a few month ago

Thanks, so likely this quorum queue got created in RabbitMQ 3.x.
