Event Signup And Badge Printing

Users can sign up from a web interface for the event and the back-office staff can print badges from the event registration data on a label printer or card printer. It should also generate a bar code that can be scanned by exhibitors to get contact details for the visitor.

Note: The label printer creates the stick-on labels whereas the card printer simply prints a card that has to be placed within a plastic insert.

There is an Open Source Label Printer on source forge that, according to the description, has a GUI for designing the label and to generate the XML, and to use the XML for printing.
