i only defined the lenses and not the prisms myself, so maybe it's not as easy as i imagine.

can you merge it into http-client? @SNoyman is nice and responsive to changes if there are no additional dependencies. you could avoid the lens dependency by unrolling the lens operators and types (at least, that's what i usually do).
