@rern I flashed the new image to a new SD card, added 'nolocalbrowser', 'SSH' and 'wifi' files (wifi configured to my long standing setup) and booted the RPi 3A+. On first start, it booted to Access Point not my wifi setup - despite having a wifi file in place. I disabled both 'System / Onboard Devices / WiFi / Access Point' and 'Features / Others / Access Point', put a new wifi file in /BOOT and rebooted - no wifi connection. I connected a USB/Ethernet adaptor and finally got access to the system. Next try was to enter the wifi details directly into 'Networks / Wi-Fi'. I searched for wifi networks, chose my SSID and then manually entered the password. After a couple of attempts at this the wifi connection 'stuck' and I can now reboot the system normally with the wifi setup being retained and used after the reboot. Something has definitely changed with the connection to WiFi but at the moment I can't figure out what it might be. Thanks for your help in trying to sort this out. Chris |
