gui update 20260401 trashed my system

I ran the update from the addons and the web interface disappeared on remote devices and the local HDMI screen. Same after hard reboot. I ssh'd in as root and got a "that file/ directory doesn't exist". Did get a command prompt and did a reboot with the same result. I re-imaged my SD card and I'm back in business. The 20260401 update is still offered on the addons page with this being displayed: Please download the latest image file to be able to update. I won't fall for that again. Player works fine, sounds great.
