I use the gnome-terminal in Ubuntu 14.04 and for me the code blocks are not visible.
I used the npm module for marked and marked-terminal, e.g. in app.js markdisp(data):
var TerminalRenderer = require('marked-terminal'); var marked = require('marked').setOptions({ gfm: true, renderer: new TerminalRenderer() });
Then the code blocks are visible but not very pretty, although I bet that's an issue with the default options for marked-terminal.
