It'd be awesome to be able to rename text overrides as well.

Are you talking about symbol text overrides?

I would like that too!

I have a symbol with a text label
I inserted the symbol 20 times in my art board
I filled the text label name based on custom added data
Now I would like to rename those layers based on the generated name
