Can you strip existing numbers from layer names #118

I need to rename after I've used a number sequence. Is there a way to strip the prefix.

Also if you allowed regular expressions this above would be possible (suggested feature)

There is no way to do that right now. It has been asked before and I think I will create a dedicated menu item to remove sequenced numbers.
