App Store installation and update failure

I’m experiencing a persistent App Store installation issue while using Dopamine Roothide

Device behavior

When the device is jailbroken:

• App downloads start normally in the App Store.

• During the installation phase the progress stops.

The button then reverts from “Installing” / progress indicator back to “Update”.

No error message appears.

When the device is not jailbroken (stock state) everything works normally:

• Apps download and install correctly.

• This strongly suggests the problem only occurs within the Roothide environment.

Environment

Jailbreak tool: Dopamine Roothide 2.4.5.21

Roothide Core tested versions:

Used 0.0.9 then tried 0.1.0.

iOS: 16.3.1

Device previously worked for months without issues.

Tweaks that were removed during testing

To rule out conflicts I removed:

FakeRoot

Postbox

After removing them the App Store worked temporarily, but the issue returned later without installing any new tweaks.

Daemons restarted during troubleshooting

killall appstored
killall storekitd
killall installd
killall accountsd

Userspace restart:

ldrestart
App Store cache reset attempts

Removed caches from:

/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.AppStore
/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstored
/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.apple.storekit
Temporary directory rebuild

Checked and rebuilt:

/var/tmp
/var/tmp/com.apple.appstored

Current permissions:

/var/tmp -> root:wheel 777
/var/tmp/com.apple.appstored -> mobile:wheel 700
Apple ID / Store session reset

Logged out from Media & Purchases

Restarted daemon processes

Logged back in.

Filesystem checks

Investigated directories used by the installer:

/var/installd
/var/containers/Bundle/Application
/var/containers/Data/Application

1: try dopamine->settings->disable tweak injection->reboot userspace
2: zip and upload rootfs:/var/mobile/Library/Logs/CrashReporter using Filza(from roothide repo)

try dopamine->settings->disable tweak injection->reboot userspace, if still doesn't work, start a fresh jailbreak

I tried Disable Tweak Injection in Dopamine settings and then performed a userspace reboot.

After that the App Store started working normally again.
Apps download and install without reverting back to the “Update” button.

I start checking every tweak i had what causing this...
