I love the heroku api, can you turn it into a heroku button so its easy to self host?

I love using the heroku api, however I don't want to have any issues with hitting the api too hard. Could you use https://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/heroku-button to allow user's to deploy their own instance of the api?
