Plan is to organise first few talks during fall 2016.

Open tasks:

• Find speakers

First f2f planning meeting about the fall 2016 agenda is held on Thursday 1st of September 15:00 at Kuutio lobby, Joensuunkatu 7E, Salo.

Why did I start this project?

We have also now Slack salodevelopers.slack.com available for discussions. You need to get invite to get in, so please ping me via Twitter (@kimmoeklund) or SMS me. I can also setup domains so that all verified users from a given domain can join.

I think many of us have that running on desks anyway for day-jobs, but we can discuss also alternatives of course. What would you propose?

Well, the good ol' IRC is the default option what comes to open source community. Quassel is a really nice client one can use across different platforms. Then comes of course Telegramm, written in Qt, which works everywhere, desktop and phone. Google spits out 5 open source alternatives to Slack in no time [1] :)
