After opening TwitchTransFreeNext, the program closes by itself after a few seconds without showing any error message.

Corrected steps to reproduce
Step 1: Launch the program (double-click the .exe or run via console).
Step 2: The window appears briefly.
Step 3: The program closes automatically after a few seconds.

Expected Behavior
The program should remain open and be usable as intended.

Actual Behavior
The program closes immediately without any warning or error message.

System Information

• Operating System: [z. B. Windows 11 Pro 22H2]
  -TwitchTransFreeNext Version: 2.7.6
• Installation Method: Release-Build (official .exe from GitHub)

Log Files
The program does create log files (log2023_05_08.txt etc.), but they only contain placeholders such as Entry_Points, Lorem ipsum, and top_level, without any useful error messages.

It's possible to see the error before closing the console try to do these steps:

1. open Terminal from start menu
2. type cd C:\path\to\where\the\app\is\located example: C:\Users\d.b\Documents\apps\github\twitchTransFreeNext
3. type .\twitchTransFN.exe
4. (optional) Enable debug from config.py and run the app again by re-typing .\twitchTransFN.exe
5. send us a screenshot of the console, making sure any sensitive information is erased

Sorry for the delayed response. I also wanted to mention that I'm experiencing an issue with the CMD window—it closes automatically after a certain amount of time, even though I launched it using the recommended method.

It seems like your PC can't find where id.twitch.tv is.
could you try to do nslookup id.twitch.tv on terminal? it should display something similar to this:

I am hopeful that #86 may help fix dependency errors.

Currently even pip3 install async_google_trans_new --break-system-packages does not fix errors on my machine, because async_google_trans_new fails to install. I am trying to fix:
