vImputManager does not seem to work on MacOS 10.6

Hi,

I really like the idea of the little tool. I downloaded it, compiled and installed it on MacOS 10.6.3. It does not seem to work. I found out, that InputManagers are not supported any more on 10.6. Any pointers on how to get around that?
With the right directions I could try to do a 10.6 compatible fork.
