When users upload sounds, could we warn them about copyright issues?

Schools complain that students add inappropriate music to their projects, or add music that prompts them to turn the volume up in class.

Moderators also often have to take projects down for copyright violations.

Maybe it could help to warn users about copyright issues when they click the sound upload button? Or when the files they upload are longer than, say, 30 seconds?

Any other ideas about what to do about this?

When implementing this, it is worth noting that not every country has the same law - so we have to be careful about the words. Maybe something like "Please make sure to check the copyright act applied in your country."? Or don't mention them at all and "Projects that are mainly focused on copyrighted music are not allowed."?
