Description
When a glTF PBR material is used, attempting to align planar textures has no effect, and the texture alignment overlay appears to remain tied to the transforms of the underlying Blinn-Phong material, even though the PBR material is active. This is a major workflow impediment for creators utilizing PBR.
To Reproduce:
- Rez two prims and place them next to each other.
- Apply a glTF (PBR) material to adjacent faces on both prims.
- Set the texture mode for these faces to "Planar".
- Ensure that the texture transforms (Scale, Rotation, Offset) of both faces do not match, so they are visibly misaligned.
- Select both faces.
- In the "Texture" tab of the build floater, click the "Align" button or check the "Align planar faces" checkbox.
Expected Result: The PBR textures on the adjacent faces should align seamlessly, just as Blinn-Phong textures do.
Actual Result: The PBR textures do not align. The "Align Planar Faces" action has no visible effect on the PBR material's texture mapping.
