add the option to receive notifications when a requested show adds new chapters or when all those broadcast are available, I think it can be useful for shows that are broadcast weekly

I agree, this would be valuable as a nudge reminder to the requester, and possibly to other users who could subscribe for a series as it is released.

I am currently using Outlook forwarding rules manually created for this purpose for Sonarr episode downloaded notifications.

This is actually already achievable today using Sonarr's built-in tag and notification system... no changes needed on the Seerr side.

Here's how I have it set up: in Seerr, when someone requests a show, it gets tagged in Sonarr (e.g., mine is tagged "Logvin"). Then in Sonarr, I have a notification connection (I use Pushover) that's filtered to that tag. The moment an episode is downloaded and ready to watch, I get a push notification.

You can set this up per-user too, so each person gets notified only about their own requests. Works great for weekly shows... I get a ping the moment a new episode lands.

I agree with this. I was using Ombi until today, with Ombi we could get notified for the weekly episode release, I migrated to Seerr today and I see this feature is missing (still staying on Seerr, the rest are better than Ombi).

Seerr doesnt reallt support episodes yet. So gave a workaround.

Currently there is a pr opened just for episode availability (not request). And both these will only be available when you set tvdb as metadata provider (except maybe for setups that do not use sonarr).

It seems like there are bits and pieces of this functionality available in Seer today, but with a little bit of tweaking could be leveraged to satisfy a number of feature requests that align with this idea.

A side menu dedicated option of "Upcoming" that can be displayed in either a calendar or grid view of upcoming episode releases from your Plex library (this covers not only your pass requests, but all upcoming seasons/episodes of your Plex collection)

This functionality logic seems to be partially in there with past Show requests showing up as "Partially Available" when a new upcoming season has been detected.

With my suggestion - it would be expanding on that feature to have a dedicated menu section with a clean UI view and expanding the detection to cover your entire Plex TV Show collection.
