User seeing "patient registration failed" on new patient creation #203

Observed on iOS Safari. Repro steps:

Scan unused QR Code on iPhone
Sign in if needed
Start entering Basic Information, including Birth date
Go to the next section
Go back to the Basic Information screen
Observe: Birth date field blank

Missing birth date is preventing registration from completing.
