Hi,

I have started using this package for data processing and it has so many great possibilities. I mainly parse and open .img files, but I am curious if converting images and saving them as .img smv-type file will be possible and has it's implementation been discussed?

Thank you!

I seem to remember this was similar to the adscimage format. Did you try that one? It should be in fabio.dtrekimage now.

Is the "SMV" format you are refering to this one:
https://wiki.uni-konstanz.de/ccp4/index.php/SMV_file_format
If so, it is close to the EDF format. Writing a parser/saver should be fairly easy. Do you have some test data ?
