Create Snapshots

There are currently no snapshots of this spec so it is hard to refer to a fixed version(s).

Don't necessarily need versions. Okay to make multiple CG-DRAFT report publications with a date. https://solid.github.io/webid-profile/ was published as a CG-DRAFT. We no longer treat that URL as an ED. IIRC, we decided not to bother publishing it under https://solidproject.org/TR/ (but we can).

There were a couple of updates somewhat recently. I no longer have admin/maintainer access on this repo, so I can't push minor editorial stuff (without PR) either. I was going to update the modified date which is a class 1 change. A PR is not necessary ( https://github.com/w3c-cg/solid/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md#processing-pull-requests ). Perhaps you can look into repo settings.

I was going to hand you an archived version of it which you could use it as an immutable snapshot. That'd be simplest but we can also do the following:

@VirginiaBalseiro @jeff-zucker , we can publish what's in the main branch (CG-DRAFT) as a snapshot at https://solidproject.org/TR/{yyyy}/webid-profile-{yyyymmdd} alongside https://solidproject.org/TR/webid-profile, and going forward use https://solid.github.io/webid-profile/ as we did originally as our own editor's draft. We can make incremental changes to it and update the snapshot under TR/ whenever.

On a related note, https://solid.github.io/type-indexes/ needs to be released as CG-DRAFT as well.

You had maintainer access by the WebID Profile Panel group. I have upgraded this to admin access.

I can see a branch protection in place requiring all changes to be made via PR with at least one approval - that is why you could not push directly. I will leave it to you as editor(s) to administer this repo and edit these settings as you see fit.
