Become a sponsor to Codeface
I'm Sebastian, a passionate Swift developer. I made the code visualization app Codeface in my spare time. I also maintain all of Codeface's infrastructure as dedicated, tested and documented open-source projects.
This includes a graph data structure library with graph algorithms, a unique library for observing and reactive programming as well as multiple projects around the Language Server Protocol (LSP).
The LSP-related infrastructure particularly includes "LSPService", a locally running web service that allows developer apps (code editors, code analysis tools, IDEs etc.) to access local LSP servers. This access is invaluable for developer apps that are being released in the Apple App Store because App Store apps are normally limited to the "Sandbox" and couldn't use any other tooling directly.
The strategy of leveraging LSP servers via the LSPService has proven to be very successful for Codeface. So I'm working on generalizing it: LSPService will become "LocalService", allowing any kind of app to use any kind of local tools 🗽
Sponsorships make my open-source work a bit more sustainable – but most of all, they are true signals that my tireless volunteering is appreciated, which motivates me and drives all these projects forward 🚀
