My name is Tony Di Croce. I am 45 years old and I have been writing code since I was 8. Most of my career has been writing code for embedded systems on projects related to video.

My main project right now is an open source video surveillance system for the home (or small business) called Revere (https://github.com/dicroce/revere). With the rise of an open camera standard (Onvif) the time is now right for something like Revere. Revere recently hit an important milestone: recording, camera discovery and motion detection are now done. Development effort will now shift toward viewing applications.

Sponsorship is important because I will use the money to add support for more devices to Revere, and otherwise fund it's development.
