SoloKeys was started back in 2018 with a Kickstarter campaign to build and create the world's first open source FIDO2 key. It was a huge success and we've been working on improving the products ever since.

We've since built a new generation of security key products that is physically robust, NFC reliable, and entirely based on the Rust programming language. These security keys will stand the test of time & be a strong platform for running all sort of "applets," like FIDO2 and PIV. We imagine these devices being suitable for any application you'd want a small authenticator to be used for.

Additionally, our Trussed framework, which all of our applets are based on, is cross platform. So we can regularly upgrade to new & more secure microcontrollers and always use the same reliable apps. We think of it as a better option than JavaCard.

We are a small team of developers and your contributions will allow us to continue improving SoloKeys products.
