How to extract additional response data?

I'm using the OpenAI API/ChatModel to do requests to perplexity. Perplexity adds an additional field to the ChatCompletion response called citations as described in their documentation.

Is there a way to enrich the repsonse (ChatResponse maybe?) or metadata to make it contain these additional fields?
