Description
Issue:
- When using the "Add Item" tool, there is a link to import icons. If the icon is imported as isometric (default ✔), it will have bounds larger than the underlying tile/node. I can see if this is necessary for actual isometric icons (as seen by the cube), but there seems to be a lack in documentation on what the various bounds and cutoffs might be.
- No way to tell if icon is isometric or not. One of these is an iso icon, but it's not obvious till you use it:
-
Import from node menu is missing from the node, it is only visible from the "Add Item" tool. Clicking a node -> update icon shows the existing icons, but no option to import a new one. This adds a couple steps to the workflow of adding a new custom icon to a node.
-
Minor: maybe state supported import files? I've tested png, webp, and svg, all of which work. I expected png, the other two were nice surprises ♥
Solution/Result:
- Isometric icon should be bounded by the size of the underlying tile
- Tooltip or link to docs on the size/bounds of custom isometric icons
- Icons imported as isometric should have a prefix/postfix, or maybe a small badge (ico) on the bottom right of the icon
- Add import icon UI to the node's menu
- Optional: Possibly create a new node upon import of the new icon via the "Add Item" tool
- Optional: State supported imported file types (png, webp, svg, etc.) in dialogue
