Issue with Digital Ocean Spaces integration

I am getting the following error from the debug bar:

[19:39:46] LOG.error: Unable to list contents for '/', deep listing

Reason: Custom endpoint `sfo3.digitaloceanspaces.com` was not a valid URI {

My .env is set up like so, with actual credentials instead of brackets, etc:

DO_SPACES_KEY=[key]
DO_SPACES_SECRET=[secret]
DO_SPACES_ENDPOINT=https://sfo3.digitaloceanspaces.com
DO_SPACES_REGION=sfo3
DO_SPACES_BUCKET=[bucketname]
DO_SPACES_URL=https://[name].sfo3.digitaloceanspaces.com

I haven't been able to find anything on this, unsure if this article is outdated or if I'm making a silly mistake. Any guidance greatly appreciated. Note that I had the CDN off on DO.
