4. The unentered _raw_client context manager gets garbage collected, triggering: RuntimeWarning: coroutine 'AioSession._create_client' was never awaited

Why AsyncExitStack didn't fix it:
The AsyncExitStack correctly manages resources that are entered into it, but doesn't help with resources that are created but never used. The _raw_client is only added to the exit stack in _setup(), which doesn't run if no operations are performed.

The Solution

Added a close() override in DynamoDBStore that:

• Checks if _raw_client exists and was never entered (indicated by _client is None)
• If so, enters and immediately exits the context manager using async with to properly clean it up
• Then calls the parent close() to handle normal exit stack cleanup

This ensures proper cleanup whether the store was used or not.
