Easytag deletes files

I have come across the following (Linux, Easytag V 2.4.3), when editing a list of tracks across multiple albums:

• I select "ALL"
• I press CTRL + S to save all
• At some point on some random file, Easytag,throws an error that it doesn't have permission to save a temp file
• I review the list, select ONLY the offending file, and press CTRL + S to save again
• Easytag throws an error with "No such directory or file"
• I check the directory and see that the file has gone, i.e. it has been deleted.

If nothing else now I know why some of my music track files have been disappearing.

NB: that this only happens when working with multiple albums. No such error when editing a single album at a time.
