Request: Query sort by backlink count

Part of my workflow is to find notes that I have that are not very embedded in my other notes. So, I find those notes with low backlinks and make connections. It would be nice to has a saved query I can go back to for this.

This is interesting! From a pure sort behavior, it suggests a broader metadata sort feature. I like that idea, though I'm unsure how best to properly expose it.

From a query perspective, it means generic metadata search. Maybe with the syntax of Notes with property=value or Notes with property>value, though that might run into a keyword issue. Maybe go a little further towards SQL with Notes where property=value? That would make the where keyword a more SQL style raw property system while with would invoke the existing easy to use shortcuts.

It seems like with has to do with a note's content, but the backlinks of a note are not part of the content of the note, rather it is some aggregation of other notes' content. Unless I am mistaken, and instead backlinks are stored as some metadata on a note.

That's a very good point. with could refer to the contents themselves and where to general properties.
