What is the problem you are trying to solve with this feature?
Including the option to add 'Container' (tote, bin, crate, basket, sack, etc...) as an optional parent for assets.
What is the solution you are proposing?
I have a basement, garage and storage unit with lots (40-50) of storage totes. I would like to add assets to containers, then containers to locations. When an item/asset is searched for it would give the container and location where it is. Additionally, having a printed label on the container that would allow for it to be "scanned" and taken to the page with the listed contents. Viewing a Location page would list both assets and containers as children of the location.
What alternatives have you considered?
Creating multiple locations as substitutes for containers. That gets messy.
Additional context
I'm not a coder/developer. However I am a Cloud Engineer and Technical PM of development teams. I could offer these skills to support the efforts.

I like the idea of putting locations and items in the same database table a la hay-kot/homebox#696. Then locations could be treated much the same as items.
A box is a location I put things in, but it's also an asset I would like to track.
