Problem with piping to gaer #2

Hi, just trying to get stylestats & gaer to send our style stats to GA. It seems like gaer works fine when I specify a JSON file, but not when I pipe JSON into it via stylestats.

Working:

gaer -t "UA-xxxxxx-x" -r "GAER Report" ~/Desktop/stylestats.json

Not working:

stylestats -f json -n public/assets/application.css | gaer -t "UA-xxxxxx-x" -r "GAER Report"

Also, just running stylestats -f json -n public/assets/application.css outputs valid JSON.

Any ideas where I might be going wrong? Thanks.
