Crash Report

Based on the crash report, it looks like this.puffbug.getLaunchDirection() here returned null, then it crashed when attempting to use it as a vector. I was just tabbed out while idling in The End when it crashed, doesn't continue crashing upon reloading the world and can't reliably reproduce the crash so no ideas on how it got into that state to begin with.

Had this happen an additional 3 times so set up a test environment to see if it was a weird mod interaction or smth. Got the crash with only Endergenic and Blueprint installed so it's something that can happen regardless

for anyone else suffering from this bug, you can disable puff bugs spawning:

• Use a mod like You Shall Not Spawn to disable their natural spawning. To get rid of already existing Puff Bugs, use a repeating command block to kill them with commands.
• If the unthinkable happens and Puff Bugs continue spawning, also consider using a block replacement mod to replace Puff Bug Hives with Air whenever chunks are generated/loaded. There are plenty of these already existing on Curse/Modrinth

I submitted a fix for this issue in November: #299
If you know how to build mods that branch should work for you, otherwise let me know if a .jar file is needed and I can find a way to make it available.

To TeamAbnormals: from your mod activity you are still around, maybe take some time to provide a hotfix for your mod here that has been unplayable for over a year thanks to this crash?
A public hotfix that is, not one behind your paywalls.
