How to Test and Use Avatar Toolkit
If you want to help test Avatar Toolkit and provide feedback, you can download it from our GitHub repository:
Requirements
You will need Blender 4.3 for Alpha 1 and Blender 4.4 for Alpha 2.
Reporting Issues
Before reporting an issue, please:
- Ensure it hasn't already been reported.
- Check if there's an existing pull request addressing your issue.

When reporting issues or providing suggestions, please include detailed information:
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- Screenshots (if applicable)
- Detailed description of the problem or suggestion
Reports that lack context or simply state "This is broken" without additional information are likely to be closed, especially if we cannot determine the nature of the issue.
Providing Feedback and Suggestions
- Please ensure your feature hasn't already been suggestion, search the issues tab.
- Please provide a detail description of what you want and why it should be added.
- Suggestions which just say "You should add this" without any details and reasons why will be closed.
Status of MMD Tools in Avatar Toolkit
When we refer to MMD Tools, we're not talking about the MMD Tools that CATS uses. We're developing our own purpose-built system that's completely separate from the Blender plugin MMD Tools. Our goal is to avoid relying on third-party plugins. As this is a new system, we need extensive feedback from users to improve it, as it's still far from perfect.
MMD Importer
Coming soon, aim is for Alpha 3
MMD Options:
Once the importer has been completed, we are going to work on MMD Options. This will replace cats FIx Model button and will separate all functions into different buttons.
Future Plans
Once we have completed the importer, we will focus on refining these tools.
