As tekuma is art centered around a story, we should engage our artists to tell more about the art they upload. Having a "Description" field is a poor way to do that.

Idea:

  • Keep the original description field (for legacy)
  • Add process for asking the user more about an artwork

Questions: (onboarded from Kun on 17JAN2017 from https://tekumateam2016.slack.com/files/kun/F3RSLS8UR/artwork_story_field__kun_.jpg)

  • Why did you create this artwork (school project, work, inspiration in daily life, a hobby, etc)
  • What were your thoughts when creating the piece? Did you iterate on it?
  • Why concepts does the piece deal with?
  • Did you use any special or interesting techniques when creating this image?

Looks good! Minor tweaks:

  • Why did you create this artwork (school project, commission, personal, etc.)
  • What was your creative process for this piece? Did you make multiple versions?
  • What concepts does the piece deal with? What is its intention?
  • Did you use a special or interesting method when creating it (medium, technique)?
