Description
Describe the Feature
Better settings/description on Tab Management
Currently there is more than one place to handle the Tab Management behavior:
- General > Tab Management
- Spaces > Auto Clear Tabs
Besides, to me, it's not clear what the options do, and do not follow "standard" browser naming conventions.
My suggestion involves adding additional context and/or changing the naming/description. And help users better set things up.
Use Case
General > Tab Management
- Destroy web views after: ❌
I guess it's referring to -> Put Tabs to Sleep After:
Also add a more aggressive 30min. And you can remove 2 days.
- Remove tabs completely after: ⚠️ / ✅
It's good. Just gonna suggest the following:
- Shouldn't have the same presets as Destroy web views after
- Should be similar to Arc with: 12h | 24h | 1 Week | 1 Month | Never
In the future it should be as Arc, meaning they should be Archived and be separated or tagged in the history to be filtered or searched (don't know if this is possible, just a thought)
- Maximum recent tabs to keep in view: ❓ / 🐛
- It's confusing because I can open more than that number.
- Also if I open more than the number in the background my current page goes blank and off.
- I guess this is about Sleeping Tabs as well, but the behavior is not tuned well.
My suggestions are:
- Explain better how to use this feature or how it's useful.
- Leave just the sleeping tabs timer.
Spaces > Auto Clear Tabs
Auto Clear Tabs == Remove tabs completely after ??
- To me, looks like the same behavior in two places.
- Could consolidate the general Tab Management in one place. Maybe per space?? Depends on your goals.
- Either way could be better explained or consolidated.

Additional Context
Loved your initiative and hope it goes well! Saw it on Ras Mic video.
It's my first comment on a open source project. Hope it's helpful the way I communicated.
And looking forward towards Ora's future!!!
