Goal

To have template files to be opened by image editors, such as Gimp, Photoshop, etc.

Details

The directory should contain different layers formats (text fonts, backgrounds, colors, effects..) in which will be possible to reproduce the same visual design in different resolutions and platforms, some examples:

  • Thumbnails
    • Youtube, Facebook, Instagram Reels, Twitter, Linkedin and so on
  • Posts
  • Land pages
  • Streams effects (transitions, mini logos, background)
  • Podcast logo/background
  • Website details
  • Slide shows
  • Advertising

The main purpose is to have a visual identity for EpiGraphHub to be shared with the development team and easily used in different social networks, where it could be recognized on social media timelines.

I think we gotta start at the beginning here. Because this subject depends a lot on personal taste, my suggestion is to start picking the main colors for EpiGraphHub. The colors on the logo are:
Light Blue #109BE1
Black #040404

Any ideas on colors, should we reuse the colors we already have?

We can use our logo on the thumbnail. I am attaching the SVG file here for reference. The font I used was Saunder BRK. It is a free font naturally.

I notice that many thumbnails use a human face as part of the thumbnail. Does anyone know of a successful channel that does not use a person on the thumbnail?

We can also use sketches or draws, for example:

That's a good Idea, but we need to be able to keep it simple, we don't want to spend hours designing thumbnails.
I thought about using a face generator, but did not find a good enough open-source AI model.

If the video has the webcam record, a simple frame can have its background removed and add some detail in the borders.

Putting together the thumbnail is not the challenge. Preferably, we could have a library of selfies from the team and we could pick one to compose the thumbnail, along with the other elements

I think that's the best solution.
