Completed clue keeps clue focus

When you have highlighted a clue to concentrate on it, then grey it out to indicate its completion, the game keeps the focus on the now greyed-out clue. It does not make sense, as a greyed-out clue means you don't want to deal with it anymore.

When you grey-out a highlighted clue, that clue should automatically lose focus so that others get back to their normal visibility, like so:

This would be simple enough, but I wonder about undo. If I complete a clue, and click undo, the completion is undone. But what about clue selection?

Clue selection is not a history-tracked event so undo wouldn't change the clue selection.

Also where do we go if we complete all clues? I suppose that could be the exception.

This isn't about clue selection, this is about the visibility of other clues when the one you have selected/highlighted is greyed-out by your own decision.

Ah yes, it's because i used the term "focus" in my original message, sorry.
i don't necessarily mean the selected clue should be changed for another, what i meant by "focus" there is the slight transparency applied to other clues which are not selected, an effect which gives an "impression of focus" on the curently selected clue. It's actually this "impression of focus" that'd i'd like to be removed once the clue is greyed out. (see the difference between the 3rd and 4th pictures)
