What do the docs say now?

If you want the old behavior in later versions of TimescaleDB, set the timescaledb.finalized parameter to false when you create your continuous aggregate

Directly before it there are references to "DISTINCT works in aggregate functions not in the query definition"

What should the docs say?

It's unclear what that sentence is referring to. I'm not sure if it's a fragment that should be simply deleted or whether it should be moved elsewhere in the document

Hi @ephemer! Both of those parts expand on the table right above it:

• DISTINCT is marked as supported in TimescaleDB 2.7 and later, but not in the query definition.
• Some of the functions are no longer supported in later versions, but you can still enable them with timescaledb.finalized.
