[Bug]: Uploaded files are not (always) uploaded

What happened?

I am testing to see if uploaded files indeed get uploaded to the server and they do not consistently seem to get uploaded. I drag and drop a somewhat large file (80MB) and the progress bar disappears and file looks uploaded (or it never finishes and the file is never uploaded), but it is not available - I open the same page in another session and I get "Failed downloading ...". Also the server doesn't seem to transfer the same amount of data; sometimes it transfers for a while (but not enough to transfer the whole file), sometimes theres no significant network activity). Also the cloud storage bar doesn't increase to reflect the upload.
The worst thing is there is no feedback to the user that the upload failed or that the file is not yet uploaded, no indication of it.

Also where are the files located on the server? I specified the config, database and upload locations in the .env file, but none of them change by more than 0.1MB when uploading a file of several tens of MB.
