<p>Laytharang, our first arts fest, took place on February 2020. The seemingly ordinary auditoriums transformed to a source of vibrant colours, cheered on by students, faculties and parents alike. The arts fest brought out the true spirit of MEC and had extraordinary performances throughout. The organisational abilities of the students were also enhanced by the division of the college into groups, namely, Thandava, Rakshasa, Samhara and Dhruva and one group Aryans to control them all.
Laytharang proved that MEC is a natural home for world class artists and people who are ready to go that extra bit.</p>

<p>On 24th October 2019, CSA took up the brooms. The college was due to be visited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) team the very next week.
CSAians split themselves to various groups and assigned each group specific cleaning tasks.
These were carried out wholeheartedly and hence effectively. The objective of cleaning is not just to clean, but to feel happiness living within that environment.
This day played an important role in refreshing the thoughts and ideas of the students and taught them how to make even a dull process,
like cleaning, fun!

<p>Green Mile- a mini marathon that aims to catalyze action towards a better tomorrow!
The 10-km run saw people from all walks of life taking part.
The marathon covered Marine Drive, Queen’s Walkway and MG Road.
The marathon was organised as part of the social responsibility initiative of the tech fest Excel 2019</p>
