TryPost already has a scheduling calendar, automations with triggers, and analytics. An Evergreen Content Library is the natural next step: a dedicated pool of reusable posts that TryPost automatically recycles on a defined schedule, prioritising top-performing content and respecting cooldown windows so the same post never appears twice too close together.
Problem
Every team has a library of timeless content product explainers, testimonials, FAQs, lead magnets, offers, and evergreen educational posts that performs well every time it is published but sits idle after its first run. Manually rescheduling this content is tedious and easy to forget. The result is underutilised assets and a content calendar that fills up with new production work when recycled posts could be doing the same job.
Proposed Feature
Add an Evergreen Library section where users can mark any post as evergreen
Set rules per post or per library category:
Minimum cooldown window (e.g. repost no sooner than 45 days)
Maximum number of reposts (e.g. stop after 6 cycles)
Target platforms and accounts
Active date range (e.g. only recycle during Q4)
TryPost automatically fills scheduling gaps with evergreen content when the calendar has open slots
Per-platform content variants supported so each platform gets an appropriately formatted version
Analytics tab showing cumulative performance across all cycles of an evergreen post
Pause, resume, or retire individual evergreen posts at any time
Why This Matters
Increases content output without increasing content production workload
Maximises ROI on existing high-performing assets
Especially valuable for creators, educators, agencies, and founders who repeatedly share the same core messages and offers
MeetEdgar built an entire business on this single feature it is one of the most-requested capabilities in social media scheduling
Suggested MVP
Mark any post as evergreen
Set cooldown window and max repeat count
Auto-fill open calendar slots with evergreen content
Pause / resume / retire controls
Cumulative performance analytics per evergreen post
