Support for the 74HC165 shift register #4

Hello, any chance of adding support for the 74HC165?
I know you can use a multiplexer for button inputs, but they're a little more expensive then shift registers where I live and I have already had the board manufactured using 74HC165's.
I saw a PR on the Control-Surface repo.
Maybe I could help getting those changes approved in this repository.
