The native app unable to initialize UI with no Internet

It looks like the JSON files loaded via $.getJSON() blocks the UI from rendering, if running the standalone native app with no Internet.

This may be also blocked by getting the day of advise in the footer?

This issue might be nonsense as the native app is built around the web app, which requires Internet.
