Installing Bazzite

I've been trying to install Bazzite and everytime I do I get the same error;
"An error occurred while activating your storage configuration.
error wiping old signatures from /dev/sdb: Failed to probe the device '/dev/sdb' "

I've now tried two different usbs with the installer one using Rufus and the other fedora media writer both getting the same error message. I've tried doing a secure erase through the bios and I might try again but it was no help. Outside of going out a buying a new drive, which I'd rather not do, I'm completely lost on what I can do. Any ideas?
