Context
A real customer need, raised by management at a customer org: they want to see — since they last looked — that the management system is being actively worked on, is improving, and is healthy. Month over month. Their instinct: keep it simple, with progress visible over time, not a heavy configurable thing.
The maturity model we already describe to customers captures the spine:
Today's dashboard shows the snapshot (work in progress). What's missing is the temporal dimension — the trend, and "what's changed since last time."
Proposal (opinionated, simple)
Not a customizable dashboard builder — a fixed, opinionated view tied to the maturity model above. Two things:
Candidate signals, all from existing entities:
Most of the trend is derivable from existing timestamped records (decision log, task completion, entity changelog) — so likely low schema cost. "Since you last checked" needs only a small last-viewed timestamp.
Why this fits
This is the dashboard proof of the project's core promise — a management system that stays alive and doesn't rot after the audit. A management view of progress over time is exactly that proof.
Open questions
Input very welcome — especially from anyone running this in front of management.
