Bruno VS Code Extension check SSL certificate even if "Enable SSL Verification" is disabled

I have checked the following:

• I have searched existing issues and found nothing related to my issue.

This bug is:

• making Bruno unusable for me
• slowing me down but I'm able to continue working
• annoying
• this feature was working in a previous version but is broken in the current release.

VS Code Extension v4.4.0

Describe the bug

As the title,

Bruno VS Code Extension returns me

self signed certificate in certificate chain
You can disable SSL verification in the Preferences.
To open the Preferences, click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner.

even if the Enable SSL Verification option is disabled
